Getting this right matters: the wrong category means the wrong mask, which layers the garment oddly even though the request still succeeds.

FAQ
- What photos work best?
- A full-body photo with your arms at your sides, a plain background, and good, even light. The clearer the engine can see your body outline, the better the result.
- Why does the garment category matter?
- The category tells the engine which mask to use. Picking "Full outfit" for a plain shirt produces odd, layered-looking results — use "Top" for shirts and jackets, "Bottom" for pants and skirts, and save "Full outfit" for dresses and other full-length pieces.
- Why do results sometimes fail or look off?
- This is an AI approximation, not a real fitting. A garment photographed worn on another person is harder for the engine to lift and re-drape than a flat, on-its-own product shot, so results can vary.
- Why is it slow the first time?
- Free engines fall asleep when idle to save resources. Waking one up can take about a minute; once it's warm, a try-on takes roughly 15–20 seconds.
- Is there a daily limit?
- Yes. Each try-on uses about 6 GPU-seconds. Free visitors share a limited daily allowance by IP address. Signing in with a free Hugging Face account gives you a separate allowance of your own.
